Every summer my husband and I escape the heat of the southeast and head to the Colorado Rockies. We anticipate the exploration, restoration, and adventure all year long. This year, we spotted two large bucks roaming in the evergreen forest in our yard inspiring this collection.
Rocky Mountain High
My mom welcomed wonder and play in every way, particularly in the yard around the pool. Her flower boxes encircled a magical, watery playground where my friends and I transformed into mermaids on the regular. This collection pays homage to mom’s love of sophisticated whimsy that shaped my soul.
Saltwater Daydreams
The birth of these characters coincided with the delivery of a son. My daughter-in-law asked me to design curtains for her son’s nursery. Her theme began as Dinosaurs in Space. Other animals joined the fun and I eventually landed here. We waited five anxious and long years for our grandson to arrive so participating in the design checked off every happy box I could imagine. The theme and the color scheme belong to my daughter-in-law. I executed her vision. What indescribable joy!
